About the firm: "Ivan-Tour"

A tourist firm "Ivan-Tour" was founded in 2002 in Chemal (a village), the Altai Republic. The firm's firs name was "Ivanovskii Splav" (splav means rafting). The firm began its activity with short rafting tours along the Katun River, and very soon (the middle of the summer 2002) among its clients were the largest recreation departments and campsites in the vicinity of Chemal, along the Chemal and Katun Rivers. Interesting excursions during the tour, attentive attitude towards people and safety measures made this tour very popular among tourists. Very often people came from far recreation departments to raft with us. In 2003 we started equestrian tours: "Zolotoi Klooch" in Ust-Koksinskii region and "A Pearl Necklace of the Lakes" in Chemalskii region; and an equestrian and aquatic tour "The Karakoli - the Katun", and also a rafting along the Middle Katun.

The firm's specialization is an adventurous tourism in Gorni Altai: rafting along mountainous rivers, equestrian and mixed tours, and excursions. Our slogan is The Most Interesting Tours in the Most Beautiful Places of Gorni Altai. These tours were worked out with the help of local shepherds, tourists, instructors and life-guards.

Safety measures are of vital importance in our policy. Thorough instructions and practical trainings on safety measures are always held before the beginning of the tour. Boats with tourists are always accompanied by safety boats; besides, each participant gets a hard hat (helmet) and a life-jacket. Our instructors are professional sportsmen and tourists. During the tour they run the boats, cook the food, organize excursions and various entertainments, instruct on safety measures and help in different situations. As for the tourists themselves they do only what they can and what they like.

Health-giving and Rich Three-Meal Nutrition: The daily menu includes fruits (apples, oranges, etc.), salads from fresh vegetables (cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.), all kinds of sausages (ham, cold pork, salami, smoked ribs, etc.), sweets (chocolates, cakes, honey, etc.) and other various kinds of tasty and health-giving food. Besides, there will necessarily be a hot first and\or main meal. A special pride and glory of our menu is Altai honey and tea made of herbs, which you will meet in abundance during the tour.

We give you all the necessary equipment. You are to take only your personal belongings.

Insurance: your insurance is made up of: the insurance of the Joint Stock Company "Ingosstrach-Altai", which includes Voluntary Medical Insurance up to 200000 roubles (RUR) (including the costs of helicopters) and a payment up to 50000 roubles (RUR) under the insurance from an accident.
