Nutrition: during the tour the food is prepared by the instructors on the fire. The daily menu includes fruits (apples, oranges, etc.), salads from fresh vegetables (cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc.), all kinds of sausages (ham, cold pork, salami, smoked ribs, etc.), sweets (chocolates, cakes, honey, etc.) and other various kinds of tasty and health-giving food. Besides, there will necessarily be a hot first and\or main meal. A special pride and glory of our menu is Altai honey and tea made of herbs, which you will meet in abundance during the tour. If you are a vegetarian or have some special preferences in food, please, let us know about it beforehand for us to have time to arrange everything on your menu.

Equipment: we use only the best equipment produced by Russian and foreign firms. All equipment is chosen according to the special conditions of the region you travel through. We've made our best to take into consideration every detail of the trip for you to feel comfortable and safe. We shall provide you with all the necessary equipment: a tent for two persons (if you want you may live there alone, in this case, please, let us know about it beforehand), a warmth-keeping mat and a sleeping-bag; plates, cups, spoons; rubber high boots, a mackintosh, special bags for carrying some cargo on horses. Besides, each separate group will get an awning to protect from rain, tableware and cutlery. WE EXPECT YOU TO TAKE YOUR PERSONAL BELONINGS. A recommended list of personal belongings you will find in the description of each tour.

About guides: Our instructors are professional sportsmen and tourists. During the tour they run the boats, cook the food, organize excursions and various entertainments, instruct on safety measures and help in different situations. As for the tourists themselves they do only what they can and what they like.

Safety measures are of vital importance in our policy. Thorough instructions and practical trainings on safety measures are always held before the beginning of the tour. Boats with tourists are always accompanied by safety boats; besides, each participant gets a hard hat (helmet) and a life-jacket.

Health: this tour is designed for ordinary people without any special training. That is why there are practically no health problems connected with overloading during the tour. Of course, one may always cut one's finger, rub sore one's foot or scratch one's arm. To help you there is always an instructor with a first-aid set. If you have some chronic disease you must necessarily have all medicaments you need. It is desirable that you have an inoculation against tick encephalitis. But don't get upset if you don't have one. There are very few infected ticks in Gorni Altai. You must regularly and very carefully inspect your body - that will be enough. Moreover your insurance includes prophylactic injection of an antidote in case a tick bites you. If something happens to you, you will be taken to the nearest hospital immediately, in a helicopter if needed. Extra medical expenses will be compensated by the insurance company.

Insurance: your insurance is made up of: the insurance of the Joint Stock Company "Ingosstrach-Altai", which includes Voluntary Medical Insurance up to 90000 roubles (RUR) or 200000 roubles (RUR) (it depends on how far we are from the life-saving service) and a single payment up to 50000 roubles (RUR) under the insurance from an accident (the sum you receive in case of an accident depends on the kind of trauma).

Booking tickets. Group formation. You may use telephone, fax, e-mail to make reservation. After you reserve tickets, you will be included in the list of participants, and we shall send you all the necessary information. If you don't make a down payment on time (the period will be indicated), we may annul your reservation. The place in the tour is considered reserved after you have made a down payment, an amount of which is indicated in the description of each tour. After that we make a contract with you, where all the terms will be stipulated and your wishes taken into consideration. A full payment must be done before the time indicated in the description of the tour, and only after that we shall give you a ticket for a group together with a thorough stipulated program of the trip. If you don't make a full payment on time (even if you have made a down payment) we may annul your reservation. If you try to reserve tickets after the time of the full payment, your participation will depend on whether we have vacant seats in the group or not. If you decide not to participate in the tour you must inform us about it before the time of the full payment, indicated in the description of the tour. If you don't do it your money will not be returned.

The amount of tourists in the group. The cost of tours is based on the amount of tourists in the group. If the number of tourists in the group is not enough we may cancel the tour, offer to change your tour, or change the cost of the tour. If you don't agree to it we shall return you all the money paid. We shall necessarily inform you about all the changes in the group before the time of the full payment. After this time the changes in the amount of tourists do not influence the cost of the tour nor the program itself. These terms do not cover some extreme circumstances.

The prices indicated in the catalogue can be changed because of inflation, delivery costs, or some other factors. You will get exact data when you reserve tickets.

The dates and periods of the tours. In the description of each tour you will find an exact date and the period of time during which the tour is organized. Thinking about this we take into consideration the climate of the region. If you have your own group or you want to travel individually you may choose time convenient for you during these periods. We shall try to consider your wishes in regard to the program.

To Chemal (a village) you may get non-stop by buses from Barnaul at 7.40 a.m. and 1.45 p.m.; from Biisk at 10.30 a.m. and 3.20 p.m.; from Gorno-Altaisk at 1.35 p.m. and 6.40 p.m.; or from Novosibirsk at 10.10 p.m. The time given is local.
